welcome to agnicart
India’s rural economy is dominated by draught animals. The bullock pair is often referred to as India's agricultural backbone. India was home to the world's most famous draught breeds Nagori, Khillar, Hallikar, Amrit Mahal, Kangayam, Manaparai, Bargur, Alambadi, Malvi, Haryana, Gir, Ongole, Tharparkar, Deoni and others are among them.
There was no advancement in animal-drawn equipment for about 200 years. AGNICART started extensive research(2017) with farmers in India and focused on removing the pain points from conventional bullock-drawn farm equipment. A farmer had to walk 6-8 kilometres to plough one acre with a traditional bullock plough. Inspired by this strenuous task, AGNICART founder Sasikumar conducted research on ancient farm equipment in India and created a prototype that allows farmers to sit and plough instead of walking. Initially the product had some issues with ploughing and depth adjustment, but after many modifications and continual collaboration with farmers, a sturdy multifunction cart was built. The innovation of MULTIPURPOSE BULLOCK DRAWN CULTIVATOR by AGNICART can be equipped with a variety of tiny farm implements, and the farmer can plough while sitting on the cart. A excellent pair of bullock may be able to finish the job faster with the help of this innovation.
AGNICART is an incubate of TNAU( TAMILNADU AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY), COIMBATORE since 2019.
